Seller terms

Seller terms

Effective 15 October 2026. Draft text: have a lawyer review it and add the legal entity name before you accept real sellers.

The arrangement

Akwaaba is a marketplace. You list items you own, buyers pay Akwaaba, and Akwaaba pays you the sale price (and any shipping the buyer paid) minus our commission, after the buyer receives the item. You are an independent seller, not an employee or agent of Akwaaba. You are responsible for your items, your taxes and your shipping.

Who can sell

What you may sell

Listings

Commission and fees

Shipping

Ship within 4 days of payment and add the carrier tracking number in your dashboard. Pack items properly. If you do not ship, we may cancel and refund the buyer and count it against your record.

Payouts

Returns and disputes

Buyers can return items within 30 days under our returns policy. If an item is not as described, damaged or not delivered, the buyer is refunded and the cost is yours. We decide disputes fairly, looking at photos, messages and tracking.

Your record

We track late shipping, refunds, complaints and reviews. A weak record leads to lower listing limits, longer holds or suspension. A strong one earns a trusted badge, a higher limit and faster payouts.

Privacy

We share a buyer's name, delivery address and phone with you only to fulfil the order. You may not use them for anything else. See our privacy policy.

Liability and law

We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Disputes are governed by the law of the state where Akwaaba is registered. Contact nanatek94@gmail.com.
