Who we are
Akwaaba is a small online shop selling brand-name fashion at marked-down prices, phones and electronics, and African wear from Ghana. Akwaaba is a working name.
How ordering works
- When you request an item you are asking us to sell it to you. A request is not a sale until we confirm it.
- When we confirm, the item is held for you for 3 days. We send a payment link with the total, including shipping and any tax.
- Your order is complete when payment is received. If the item is no longer available, we refund you in full.
- Prices are in US dollars. Many items are one of a kind, so stock is limited.
Payment
Payments are handled by Stripe or Paystack. We never see or store your card number.
Brands
We resell genuine items we buy at retail. Brand and store names belong to their owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any brand or store named on this site. Brand names are used only to describe the item.
Descriptions
We describe every item as accurately as we can, including size, condition and flaws. Colours can look different on different screens. Items marked Sample are shown for preview only and cannot be ordered.
Returns, shipping and privacy
Our returns, shipping and privacy pages are part of these terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force when you order applies to that order.
